The ATG SynBio Navarra Summit 2026 will bring together around 250 leaders in engineering biology, with roughly half joining internationally, across biomanufacturing, biofoundries, industry, investment, research and policy.
Rather than a general scientific conference, the Summit is designed as a strategic platform exploring how engineering biology can move from scientific capability to infrastructure, companies and industrial deployment — connecting biofoundries, scale-up, startups, capital and international ecosystems.
What to expect
Around 250 participants, roughly 50% international, in a format designed for substantive exchange, strategic connections and high-value networking.
Speakers and participants from organisations including Imperial College London, the Bezos Centre for Sustainable Protein, Repsol, Bayer, AstraZeneca, Genyro, Columbus Venture Partners, The Good Food Institute and CSIC, alongside representatives from leading European biofoundries in London, Paris and Copenhagen and international engineering biology ecosystems.
Strategic conversations on programmable biology, biomanufacturing infrastructure, global biofoundry networks, venture creation, agrifood and industrial biotechnology, circular bioeconomy and European competitiveness.
A two-day main Summit combining keynotes, strategic roundtables, industry perspectives, partner exhibition and high-level networking.
An invitation-only Pre-Summit on 28 October, bringing together selected startups, investors, corporates and engineering biology infrastructure stakeholders.

28 October · Invitation-only Pre-Summit
A selected group of founders, investors, corporates, speakers and ecosystem leaders will meet ahead of the main Summit for a Navarra biofoundry visit, startup pitches, founder–investor networking and an institutional reception.
Participation is by invitation.
