Signals & Systems: A Digital Health Summit
Signals & Systems is a digital health summit for people designing, building, and stewarding technology in the age of AI.
As artificial intelligence accelerates and digital systems become more powerful, one question becomes unavoidable:
Are we designing for efficiency—or for the humans inside the system?
In moments of rapid technological change, nervous systems—not dashboards—determine whether people can engage, trust, and sustain participation. When technology ignores neurobiology, we see the results clearly: burnout, disengagement, drop-off, and mistrust. Not as failure—but as feedback.
This summit brings together designers, clinicians, founders, researchers, and facilitators to explore what human-centered, neurobiology-informed digital health looks like now.
Grounded in somatic UX, polyvagal science, trauma-informed practice, and systems thinking, Signals & Systems focuses on the often-invisible layers that make technology usable and humane:
How nervous-system capacity shapes engagement and decision-making
Why trust functions as infrastructure in digital systems
How orientation, pacing, and choice reduce friction and dropout
What it means to design alongside AI without overriding human limits
Rather than asking people to adapt to increasingly demanding systems, this summit explores how systems can adapt to human biology—especially under stress, uncertainty, and cognitive load.
Participants will leave with:
A clearer framework for interpreting user behavior as somatic data
Practical tools for designing regulation, not just interaction
Language to advocate for humane, capacity-based technology
Real examples of digital health systems that support engagement without coercion
The Signals & Systems Digital Health Summit will take place over two days, on June 3rd and June 4th.
Each day will run from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST, with built-in pacing to support sustained attention and nervous-system capacity.
All registered attendees will receive access to the summit recordings for 60 days following the event, allowing you to revisit sessions or engage at a rhythm that works for you.
Signals & Systems is not about slowing innovation.
It’s about aligning innovation with how humans actually function.
In the age of AI, human-centered technology isn’t a luxury.
It’s the condition for trust, safety, and long-term impact.
