RICE | How Tech is Leveraged to Preserve Legacies: Fireside Chat w/ Carolyn Young & Billye Suber Aaron
The day will culminate with a special fireside conversation hosted by The Legacy Line from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Moderated by corporate and community leader Valerie Love, the discussion will bring together three remarkable women representing generations of leadership, legacy, and innovation.
The conversation will feature Mrs. Billye Aaron, trailblazing broadcaster, philanthropist, and widow of baseball legend Hank Aaron; Mrs. Carolyn Young, educator, humanitarian, and wife of civil rights icon and former Atlanta Mayor Ambassador Andrew Young; and Tia Cummings-Hopkins, Chief Marketing Officer of The Legacy Line, whose work is helping shape the future of storytelling and historical preservation through technology.
Together, they will explore the power of storytelling, the responsibility of preserving history, and the importance of ensuring that the people, moments, and experiences that shaped our communities are not lost to time. Through personal reflections and shared experiences, the conversation will examine how archives, family history, and cultural preservation inspire future generations and keep history alive.
