About Event
You are invited to ...A New Song for Another World on Nov 3rd at 629 Nostrand Ave.
The performance will bring together folk rock singer Lizzie No, the melodic trans-spiritual pop sounds of Arewa Basit, and radical spoken word poet Kai Diata Giovanni. In addition, we will debut a new song inspired by the collective organizing work of the Crown Heights Care Collective, Another World, and the many local organizations we've collaborated with !
After the performance, we will sing together in the streets with Crown Heights based marching band Brooklyn United at 7pm.
Doors open at 4:30pm with food from 4:30pm to 5:30pm and the performances will begin shortly after. We will try to reserve seats for elders and community members.
