Info Session: Atlas For Democracy - Community Builder Cohorts
You’re invited to join the Atlas for Democracy team to learn about the Community Builders Cohorts (several start dates throughout the year) and how we approach providing the training, tools and skills to master the art and science of forming and multiplying civic small groups.
Atlas for Democracy is a 501c3 focused on meeting the dual needs of:
Individual citizens who seek community and purpose, and
Civic and democratic organizations (existing and new) that seek to establish or to grow their base or their membership.
The Community Builders Cohorts consists of:
10 weeks of online training in Community Building (mostly) pre-Symposium
3-day in-person Symposium with hands-on experiential workshops
8 months of continued training post-Symposium
The next cohort will be kicking off October 6, meeting Tuesdays from 6:30pm CT to 8pm CT with a symposium in Nashville, Nov 14-16.
