Signature Gathering in Golden Gate Park in SF

​Join us for our first signature gathering event in Golden Gate Park for Connect Bay Area, the five-county regional transit funding measure!

We will meet near Murphy windmill on the western side of Golden Gate Park at 10am for a quick training and to hand out petition supplies. After that, we'll head out to start collecting signatures in the area. Everyone is welcome to reconvene near the end of the event to share learnings and maybe even go together for a drink or bite (with each person covering their own tab). Or you can head out and return your completed petitions another day!

To see the most friendly faces and to join the group training session, plan to meet at the event start time. But if you've already attended a training (or if you complete online training in advance by reading our training guide then completing this form), you can stop by anytime before the end of the event to drop off completed petitions and/or pick up new ones. Your RSVP is helpful either way.

No experience necessary. You just need to be 18 years old to gather signatures.  If you're under 18, let us know at connectbayarea26@gmail.com as there are many other ways to be involved and help!

It's a citizen initiative ballot measure being led by a coalition of labor organizations, business groups, transit advocates, good government organizations, and Bay Area leaders who believe this is our chance to reimagine and reinvest in a system that serves today’s riders and inspires the next generation.
