About Event

🌍 AI Governance Club

When a system leaves no record of intent, aggregate outcomes are often the only place discrimination becomes visible. Overton argues that is precisely why disabling disparate impact analysis across DOJ, the EEOC, and financial regulators lands hardest on algorithmic decisions.

Presenter: Christopher Bosley

Chris Bosley is an AI strategy and policy leader with a technical background building large-scale AI/ML, big data, and governance solutions in enterprise environments. He holds a Master of Legal Studies from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah and has a graduate background in mathematics. His current work centers on frontier AI governance theory, technical safety, and the legal frameworks required for AI agents. He publishes research on AI policy in Code on Code and is an adjunct professor of Mathematics at Salt Lake Community College.
