About Event

How can early-stage founders build strong teams without hiring too quickly or creating unnecessary overhead?

Join EchoHer for an interactive virtual conversation with Angus Dunn, Founder and CEO of Xcela and a fractional CTO. Drawing on more than two decades of experience building and leading engineering teams at Vlocity, Salesforce, and SAP SuccessFactors, Angus will share practical advice on:

  • Who your startup should hire first

  • When to choose a co-founder, engineer, contractor, or fractional CTO

  • How AI can help small teams build and move faster

  • What founders should look for when evaluating technical talent

This will be a conversational session with plenty of time for founders to share their hiring challenges and ask questions.

Apply to the EchoHer Founder Fellowship, a non-dilutive program supporting women and non-binary founders with funding, practical resources, founder education, and access to the EchoHer ecosystem.
