ββ‘ Session 3: Clean Air & Energy
βFrom smog to wildfire smoke to what powers our homes, the air we breathe and the energy we use are connected. And the neighborhoods living closest to oil wells, ports, and freeways have been carrying the burden for too long.
βThis week, we'll look at how LA is clearing the air and switching to clean power that works for everyone. We'll dig into why energy bills keep climbing, what going electric really means for your home, and how communities have won real fights against pollution.
βπ§ In this session, you'll...
βLearn where LA's air pollution comes from and who it affects most
βUnderstand why energy bills are rising and what can bring them down
βExplore clean energy and electric homes, from solar to heat pumps
βFind out how communities won LA's oil drilling ban, and how to protect wins like it
βLearn to read the air quality index and stay safe on smoky days
ββ¨ Community Guidelines & Vibes
βCome with a growth mindset, weβre all learning.
βEveryone is welcome.
