About Event

DC Systems is an independent tech talk series focused on systems programming here in DC and the broader DMV area.
We're focused on high quality talks and expert speakers. Talks about engineering, not product pitches.
To kick off 2026, we have a special Papers We Love homage edition.
DC Systems co-founder Aaron Eline will present and lead a discussion of one of his favorite computer science papers: https://link.springer.com/content/pdf/10.1007/3-540-46425-5_4.pdf
If you're coming, we encourage you to at least skim the paper first, though Aaron will open by going over the paper and its findings.
As always, there will be pizza, there will be beer.
