Game Design Workshop
On the 21st of September, I-game, MuseoSpace and TOFKAP invite you to a hands-on game design workshop led by Chris Solarski (Solarski Studio).
I-game is a Horizon Europe-funded project, focusing on building a community for the co-creation of games. Together we’ll explore how everyday experiences and artistic expression can be turned into games and interactive art, while experimenting with movement, objects and accessible game-making techniques to create personal, playable experiences.
The workshop will take us through a series of playful exercises and challenges, from exploring how our bodies and senses can become part of a game, to creating, testing and documenting our ideas. We'll work in small groups using crafting materials to develop games that respond to different experiences, memories and forms of cultural expression.
You don't need to be a game designer, artist or programmer to join. The workshop is about trying things out, collaborating and celebrating artistic expression through interaction design, while becoming part of the growing i-Game community for co-creating games.
The workshop is free to attend, but registration is mandatory. The workshop has a maximum capacity of 15 people.
