Fordham University at PIT-NY Regional Hub Activation: Food Matters & More

Part of our weeklong event The State of the State: Public Interest Technology NY Regional Hub (PIT-NY) Activation!

Students in Fordham's "Intro to Art & Engagement" class present an assortment of projects past, present, and possibly future, following a workshop with artist Lena Pozdnyakova, who represented Kazakhstan at the Venice Biennale. Projects may include the revival of Food Matters, an international web art installation featuring work by previous Fordham students, films about NYC's mobile infrastructure made with AI tools, a kid-friendly installation of “moving machines” (transformed electric trains), and other experiments in art and engagement. Come see what they cook up!
