About Event

Welcome! Would you like some encouragement & practical inspiration for your writing?

Whether you write for yourself or a wider audience, are a new or experienced writer - Write! workshops are designed to give you lift-off...

These creative writing workshops (on Zoom) use a coaching approach - so it's all about noticing more and being curious, rather than trying harder. The time together is calming and playful, with some structured input to spark your thinking, writing and development.

You write, you laugh, you learn.

Previous participants have said:

  • "in one word, ease!"

  • "this unblocked something for me in my writing"

  • "busted the myths about creativity!"

The approach is based on the W.R.I.T.E.* principles (see below), so there are opportunities to self-reflect, write, talk together, learn new skills, try things out and be encouraged.

Whether you are writing a memoir, marketing plan or just a shopping list - you'll be energised and encouraged!

Each workshop is limited to just 8 participants. The 'Join' link for Zoom will be sent by email and uploaded to Luma a few days before the workshop.

A 'Write!' workshop is offered on a contribution basis, with £15 as a suggestion - you can pay less, or more - it's up to you.

Christopher is an experienced coach & facilitator and has authored 6 books - see more here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/stores/author/B0CJQ41PRT

[One to one coaching (online) with Christopher is also available at £65 per session. See https://headsupnow.uk/11-coaching-for-your-writing-self/ for more about 1:1 coaching].

So come along, just as you are, and notice what happens!

In case of interest, the *W.R.I.T.E. principles are:

Writing wild - keep writing, don't stop to judge or edit

Rhythms - learning to hear your own writing voice

Interference - noticing what gets in the way

Time & Technique - practising specific ways to improve

Experiments - playing with ideas without pressure
