You have questions, we have (at least some) answers. Join us for Team TuneUp to ask any people/HR questions that are top of mind for you or your organization.
🗣️ This month:
Team Tune-up is talking about how to increase benefits utilization this month. We've lost track of the various benefits that we've set up that are barely used. We watch our friends leave money on the table by not using benefits provided by their organizations. And we've had enough! If we're going to have benefits, they are going to be used!
Join the conversation if you find yourself wondering: Is your survey giving you the best signal on what you want to measure? Do you even know what you're trying to measure? Because we've got some suggestions!
Our Team TuneUp calls are an opportunity to discuss what’s on your mind with experienced PeopleOps experts and like-minded business leaders. If you don’t have questions, come listen in and see what you pick up. All are welcome!
⁉️ What to expect:
We host these regularly. Each 45-minute session will have a main topic (this time, burnout!).
You can submit questions ahead of time or ask them during the session. As time allows, we’ll open up the space to questions unrelated to that topic - whatever is top of mind for you! We’ll provide some thoughts but also open it up to the group to share ideas and recommendations. After the session, we’ll follow up with some resources, ask for feedback, and send a link to sign up for the next call.
🎧 New in 2025:
We'll be recording these sessions, but we won't share the recording directly or in full. Instead, we plan to pull some clips into a podcast to make the conversation more accessible. If you don’t want your voice/opinions to be included in the podcast, just let us know during or shortly after the call! For any clips we do plan to include, we’ll ask how you’d like to be credited before adding them to the podcast.

Team Tune-Up is hosted on a rotating basis by Claire Baker (of Back Office MVP), AnnE Diemer (of aedHR), Krista Lane (of Headwaters HR) and Tali Ramo (of Organize to Optimize). Our passions and experiences differ but we share overlap in People and Operational work.
🤨 Who should join?
Everyone who has benefits or administers benefits should join, so that should pretty much be everyone. But we’d especially love to hear from:
✅ HR leaders who administer and track benefit usage
✅ Employees who have benefits they aren't using
✅ Managers who want to ensure their teams feel compensated and supported for their work
✅ Leaders who set aside budget for benefits that aren't always being used
✅ Union organizers who want to understand the value that comes with benefits
