Building AI-Native Products: How Product Teams Are Redesigning the Way They Build
AI is transforming how product teams discover, build, and deliver products. Explore how leading teams are adopting AI across the product lifecycle while balancing innovation, customer needs, and human judgment.
Session 1: AI Design Spec Handoff
By Anh Truong and Thang Pham
Design handoff is often one of the biggest bottlenecks in product development. In this session, the Chợ Tốt Product Design team will share how they built an AI-native workflow to transform the way design specifications are created. By combining Figma MCP with Claude, the workflow automatically audits design files, identifies missing information through AI-guided conversations with designers, and generates comprehensive design specifications for engineering teams.
The speakers will also walk through the challenges that inspired this solution, why traditional handoffs were slowing down product delivery, and how the team evaluated the quality of AI-generated specs with an automated scoring system. Through real implementation examples, they'll share the results, lessons learned, and practical insights into building a more efficient collaboration process between design and engineering.
Session 2: How Grab Product Teams Are Redesigning the Way They Build
By Son Tang
How do product leaders balance regional AI capabilities with hyperlocal customer needs across Southeast Asia? From product discovery to delivery, where does AI create meaningful leverage, and where does it introduce new challenges?
In this session, Son Tang shares how Grab is evolving toward AI-native product management, drawing on his experience leading Online Delivery and Affordability products. He will discuss practical lessons from driving AI adoption within product teams, overcoming organizational barriers, and building a culture where AI amplifies human creativity through initiatives such as GILA, G/AI, and continuous learning.
Session 3: [Panel Discussion] Panelist Tommy Ng and Camila Garcia Castillo, moderate by Alex Le
