Explore Brazil: Trade Without Borders Pre-summit webinar
Trade Exploration Webinar: Brazil
Inside Brazil’s operating and investment reality. Across the Brazil–Canada business bridge.
Brazil is one of the world’s largest and most complex markets — and one of the most frequently misunderstood by Canadian companies.
This Trade Without Borders Virtual Pre-Summit Event offers a practical exploration of Brazil as a growth market, grounded in on-the-ground operating experience and cross-border market insight. Designed for founders, executives, and SMEs exploring international growth, the session goes beyond surface-level opportunity to examine what it actually takes to engage the Brazilian market.
This is not a “how to export” workshop or a trade mission. It is an exploratory, decision-oriented conversation intended to bring clarity before commitment.
What We’ll Explore
This moderated conversation will help participants:
Develop a realistic view of Brazil’s opportunity versus complexity
Understand how large-scale operations, regulation, and capital intersect on the ground
Identify common misconceptions and readiness gaps for foreign companies
Learn why relationships, trust, and long-term orientation matter in Brazil
Decide whether Brazil belongs on their global expansion shortlist
Meet the Speakers
Lauro Fiuza Neto brings a deep, on-the-ground operator and investor lens on Brazil. He is a senior executive and Managing Partner at Grupo Servtec Energia, a long-standing Brazilian energy and industrial group with a multi-decade track record across large-scale thermoelectric, wind, hydroelectric, and renewable solar assets. His experience spans project development, regulatory navigation, and strategic capital partnerships with global investors, offering Canadian companies a realistic view of how major projects are financed, built, and operated within Brazil’s complex market environment.
Ingrid Polini brings a cross-border ecosystem and market-entry lens. She is the Chief Operating Officer at ClimateDoor and a leader with the Brazil–Canada Chamber of Commerce, working at the intersection of founders, institutions, and international partners. Ingrid offers insight into how relationships are built, deals are initiated, and trust is established between Brazilian and Canadian business communities.
Together, they offer Canadian companies a balanced view of Brazil — from capital-intensive operations on the ground to the relational and institutional pathways that enable successful market entry.
