Lucy Pilko leads AXA XL’s commercial insurance business throughout the US, Canada, and Bermuda. Lucy’s portfolio includes our four business segments (Large Commercial, Middle Market, Hartford Professional and Wholesale Solutions) and the full set of product lines (Property, Casualty, Financial Lines, Specialty).
Externally, Lucy serves as a board member for the American Property Casualty Insurance Association and is also on the Board of Overseers for the Greenberg School at St John’s University. She is a member of the New York Women’s Forum.
She joined AXA XL in October 2023 from The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). At BCG, she was a Managing Director & Senior Partner in the New York office and led BCG’s North American Insurance Practice.
Lucy brings over 20 years of strategy consulting experience with particular focus on growth strategy, operating model and transformation for Insurance carriers and brokerage. She has worked closely with leaders from nearly all the region’s major carriers and broking houses, helping them solve problems and uncover opportunities.
Nathan Gabig is a Principal in the KPMG Structured Finance Group with more than fifteen years of comprehensive experience in financial markets, credit risk analysis, SEC regulatory compliance and asset-backed securitization. He leads a team of more than 25 CFAs and modeling analysts, and has personally structured hundreds of ABS transactions across numerous asset types with an issuance value exceeding $70 billion. Nathan is a published author in the Journal of Structured Finance, and an industry-recognized SEC compliance expert who has written KPMG “Defining Issues” white papers on regulations including Fair Value, Risk Retention and Regulation AB II. He is an elected member of the Structured Finance Industry Group (SFIG) and he currently co-chairs the ABS Securitization committee.
Nathan is passionate about the rapidly growing renewable industry and has assisted in the financing and development of more than 600 Megawatts of solar power, while also helping lead the KPMG SunCurve™ development initiative. He is a frequent speaker at investor conferences as well as the IMN Capital Market securitization circuit. Prior to joining KPMG, Nathan worked as a senior analyst in Capital One’s Global Finance division. His interests in the energy sector started on the Houston trading floor of Enron as an analyst after graduating from the University of Virginia.
Corey Lewis is the Global Head of Tax Insurance at Brown & Brown based out of New York, NY. He was previously a member of the North America Transaction Solutions Operating Committee, Co-Leader of the North American Tax Insurance Practice and Tax Credit Insurance Practice Leader at a large, global insurance broker. Corey began his career as an associate in the International Tax Services: Financial Services / Real Estate division in the New York office of PwC. Corey was recognized as a Power Broker and Rising Star in 2019, 2020, 2022, 2025, and 2026 and as a Power Broker Finalist and Rising Star in 2023 by RISK & INSURANCE Magazine. Corey graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. and The University of Texas School of Law with a J.D.
