NUS x Jane Street Summit on Self-Evolution of AI Agents and Multiagent Systems @ ICML 2026
We are pleased to invite you to a specially curated, exclusive NUS x Jane Street Summit on Self-Evolution of AI Agents and Multiagent Systems held in conjunction with ICML2026.
The summit is a research event that taps on a surging wave of interest in Agentic AI (16 workshops at ICML 2026 touch on this topic). This event will convene a select group of researchers at the forefront of Agentic AI. It will start with keynote speeches, following which there will be roundtable discussions to shape key research questions, identify potential research collaborators, and influence technical discourse around the question of "What to evolve in agents?".
During the roundtable discussions, researchers will discuss how agents can evolve along three key dimensions: memory, collaboration and coordination, and optimization and search. They will also explore how such evolution should be guided or constrained, and what new enterprise and real-world applications these self-evolving agentic systems could unlock.
The outcome of the summit is a position or survey paper to be submitted at a top AI-venue on how agents can evolve along the three dimensions of memory, collaboration and coordination, and optimization and search. Participants at the summit will be invited to co-author this position or survey paper.
Refreshments will be available throughout the session.
