Everyone is welcome, whether you work in data management, governance, engineering, business, technology leaders, who are working, exploring and are learning or are simply curious about the field of data and AI.

This month’s topic: The Future of Data Teams

Data teams change – what comes next with AI?

AI is moving data analysis closer to the business. Teams no longer need to wait for dashboards, reports or business reviews to understand what is happening.

As access to insight becomes more distributed and federated within organisation (compared to centralised), the role of data professionals changes too.

Data teams become both reactive and pre-emptive. They move from responding to change requests towards enabling high quality data decisions, improving observability and predicting issues before the business asks.

What should data teams own in this new model? Where do governance, quality and accountability sit when more of the users and business people can work directly with data and AI?

This month we will discuss how AI is reshaping the role of data teams and what the next generation of data professionals look like.

This month's host is: Jamie Fan.

Join us for casual morning coffee and peer discussion with professionals working across data, AI and business.

Expect open peer conversations. No formal presentations. No sales pitches. Just shared learning.
