Dispelling Scope 2 Myths: Companies, Experts, and Leaders Share Why and How to Achieve GHG Protocol Reforms
NRDC and EnergyTag invite you to join us for a session bringing together companies, experts and leaders to examine proposed updates to the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Scope 2 rules. These reforms would require companies to match clean electricity purchases to the time and location of their electricity use in order to claim emissions reductions.
The discussion will highlight the reasons why climate-leadership companies are already adopting these practices, their experiences of implementing this approach, and why these reforms are more important than ever for full grid decarbonization.
Following the panel discussions and audience Q&A we will be hosting a networking happy hour with food and drinks provided.
