​Join Buffalo Fashion Runway on Saturday, August 29 from 12–6 PM at Fountain Plaza for a free, family-friendly celebration bringing together fashion, food, music, art, local businesses, entrepreneurship, and community in the heart of Downtown Buffalo.

​Presented by M&T Bank through its Meet Me Downtown initiative, The Main Block Party was created to bring people together while creating opportunities for Buffalo’s creatives, entrepreneurs, performers, businesses, and community organizations to be seen, supported, and celebrated.

​After welcoming more than 1,500 attendees during our inaugural event, we’re returning even bigger in 2026, with more than 3,000 people expected throughout the day.

​​What to Expect

​🛍️ Main Street Market
Shop, discover, and connect with 70+ local businesses, makers, artists, entrepreneurs, and community organizations throughout Fountain Plaza and Main Street.

​🌮 Main Street Eats
Come hungry! Enjoy food, desserts, and treats from local food vendors throughout the day.

​🥤 Refreshments & Beverage Garden
Soft drinks, water, and specialty beverages will be available, along with beer and wine for guests 21+ in the designated beverage area.

​🎵 Main Stage
The Main Stage comes alive throughout the afternoon with DJ sets, live performances, fashion, special guests, and more.

​👕 BFR Fashion Activation – 3:00 PM
Buffalo Fashion Runway brings fashion directly to Main Street with a special runway activation showcasing local creativity, designers, and style.

​🎤 Live Performances – Beginning Around 3:20 PM
Stick around as the Main Stage transitions into live music and performances throughout the afternoon.

​🏷️ BFR Tent
Visit the Buffalo Fashion Runway tent for merchandise, live screen printing, giveaways, community initiatives, and more.

​🎨 Art Zone
Interactive art experiences and creative activities for guests of all ages.

​🧒 Family Fun Zone
Bounce house, snow cones, popcorn, cotton candy, games, and activities for kids — all free!

​♟️ Chess & Game Zone
Connect, compete, and have some fun with community games throughout the day.

The first 100 guests will receive a FREE custom Buffalo Fashion Runway tote bag while supplies last.

​🎒 Back-to-School Giveaway
In collaboration with Rise From Nothing (RFN) free custom backpacks filled with school supplies will be available while supplies last.

​🧥 Project Warmth
Help us give back! Bring a gently used winter coat to support neighbors in need throughout the Buffalo community.

​🎟️ Contests & Giveaways
We’ll be giving away more than $500 in gift cards and prizes throughout the event.

​💰 50/50 Raffle
Purchase raffle tickets throughout the day for your chance to win. Half of the proceeds go to the winner, while the remaining proceeds support Buffalo Fashion Runway and its continued community and cultural programming.

​🌃 The Official After-Party

​The Block Party may end at 6 PM, but the night doesn’t.

​Join us immediately afterward for A Beautiful Afterparty, the official Main Block Party after-party presented by Beautiful Faces Buffalo in collaboration with Buffalo Fashion Runway.
