🌐 About the VR Workplace Readiness & Interview Skills Demo Day
The VR Demo Day is an immersive, applied learning experience designed for ECE faculty and secondary school representatives to explore how virtual reality can transform workplace readiness training, communication development, and interview preparation for students.
Using Virtual Speech-style immersive simulations, participants experience how students can practice real-world scenarios inside VR—building confidence, professionalism, and job readiness in a safe, repeatable environment.
This session demonstrates how immersive learning can support career pathways in:
• Workplace communication and professionalism
• Job interview preparation and performance
• Soft skills development (confidence, clarity, presence)
• Scenario-based learning and decision-making
• Equity-focused access to experiential training
Participants will see how VR + AI feedback systems help learners improve through repetition, reflection, and real-time coaching.
