We’re kicking off TON US Hub's 1st IdeaTON at Devconnect Buenos Aires, where founders, builders, and partners will gather to explore the future of Mini Apps on TON. If you’re ready to build, whether you meet us in person or join remotely, you’re in the right place.

What Is IdeaTON?

IdeaTON is TON’s global builder challenge series. A short, high-energy ideation sprint where innovators design new Mini Apps for Telegram using TON technology.

This first US-based edition invites developers, founders, and creators to reimagine privacy, prediction, payments, and AI inside the world’s most used messenger.

Whether you’re a solo developer, a small team, or a student builder, if you can imagine a Mini App that makes life simpler, smarter, or more secure, this is your chance to ship it.

💸 Privacy Infrastructure on TON (powered by Houdini): Build tools and experiences that make privacy a native feature of the TON ecosystem. Use Houdini’s API to integrate compliant private routing and cross-chain swaps from over 100 networks directly into TON. Build mini apps where users can transact, interact, and move funds securely, without ever exposing sensitive data.

You can explore Telegram bots for private tipping or donations, trading bots that are funded and withdraw privately, or even TON-native payroll systems that protect every transaction. Maybe it’s a wallet with built-in private swaps, or something no one’s imagined yet. TON has the access, privacy is how we protect those we onboard.
📊 AI-Enhanced DeFi, Trading, & Prediction Markets (powered by TONCO): Build intelligent, transparent, and decentralized finance tools on TON. From AI-driven trading dashboards and on-chain analytics to predictive market experiments, this track invites builders to create smarter, mobile-first financial experiences for Telegram users.

Experiment with AI agents that help users build personalized DeFi strategies based on their risk level or experience. Ideas include impermanent-loss calculators, strategy backtesters using historical data and AI prediction, or sentiment analyzers that turn market mood into actionable insights.
🎨 Telegram's Creator Economy: Design experiences that turn stickers, usernames, and gifts into social currency. Think tipping systems, tokenized communities, or creator economies built around Telegram’s on-chain identity layer, connecting fun, culture, and blockchain utility.

🧱 What to Build

Create a Telegram Mini App that:

Works (even as an MVP)
Uses at least one TON technology (TON Connect, Payments, Stars, other assets issued on TON)
Provides clear value - utility, creativity, or entertainment
Is open and accessible (no paywalls, no top-ups required)

⚡ You don’t need to be a blockchain expert; if you can build a working prototype or clickable demo, you can compete.

Stage 1 - Register

You must be registered on Luma to submit your project.
Include your Telegram username, project description, Mini App link, TON wallet, GitHub handles and all required information.
Attend our workshops to help you get started. (more below)

Participants who complete Stage 1 will be invited to a private Telegram chat to submit:
