The AI Agent Builder Challenge is a 3-week build sprint for founders serious about launching AI-native companies — with top teams competing for a $2M investment from Beta Fund, subject to diligence.
It's designed to help you build a real company.
It begins now. Teams can start submitting ideas immediately.
Top teams will be invited to an exclusive Agent Builder Day on July 16, where 50 selected teams will meet with engineering leaders from Alibaba Cloud, AMD and many other top AI companies. Teams receive technical guidance, product feedback, infrastructure credits, and mentorship before entering a 3-week build sprint.
Over the next three weeks, founders build production-ready AI applications with ongoing support from mentors and partners.
The program concludes on August 15 with an invite-only Demo Day, where the top 20 teams pitch leading venture firms and industry leaders.
This is built for companies—not demos.
**IMPORTANT**
To be considered for the July 16 Invite-Only Agent Builder Day and the August 15 Demo Day, every team must complete the application form below by July 14th.
Only 50 teams will be invited to the private Builder Day, where you'll meet leadership and engineering teams from Alibaba Cloud, AMD, and leading AI companies including Genspark, Decart, World Labs, fal.ai, Browserbase, Cartesia and more.
From there, the strongest teams will continue through the 3-week build sprint, with the top 20 teams earning an invitation to Demo Day to pitch 20+ leading venture capital firms and industry leaders.

📅 Phase 1 — Applications & Selection

The strongest applicants will be selected and invited to the private Builder Day.
Final 50-team list and mentor groups confirmed by July 14.

Token credits and cloud vouchers from Alibaba Cloud are distributed to accepted teams.
🛠️ Phase 2 — Agent Builder Day (Invitation Only)

Only 50 teams will be selected.
Spend the afternoon learning from engineers, founders, and investors behind leading AI companies, including Alibaba Cloud, AMD and more.
The day focuses on production AI systems, agent architecture, and hands-on product feedback.
Teams will also have access to office hours with engineers and small-group reviews.
🚀 Phase 3 — Build Sprint
📅 July 17 – August 7 (≈3 weeks)
Teams spend three weeks building and refining production-ready AI products with ongoing mentorship, technical guidance, and support preparing investor-ready demos.

The top 20 teams present their companies to leading venture firms, enterprise leaders, and strategic partners through live demos and investor Q&A.
