MELTING POT MIXER - a space to connect, converse and collaborate on global south perspective on heat, gender & well-being
What does it mean to experience heat day-to-day? We already know about the record-breaking temperatures and hottest days but it is far from enough. What about the lived experiences of heat? How does it impact our mental health, our well-being, our physical health, our experience of a day, followed by a warm night.
What will happen at the MELTING POT MIXER
The mixer will begin with an ice breaker and key note sharing by Ruhie & Arpitha
Followed by a round of experience sharing and a moment of reflection on what is our heat story by Archana
Segway into an interactive activity facilitated by Devina S. which will help us collectively share the heat and climate narratives
We close with next steps and ways of exploring collaborations, potential feminist global working group on heat.
