Local clay artist, @cassidy.creek is showcasing a DIY Raku kiln to make quicklime out of oyster shells. This will make a building material like cement, in homage to the historical Southern building material known as tabby.
Local native plant grower, Charlsie Shaver is leading a native plant walk through the forest.
Appalachian activist Maury Johnson is sharing about and distributing Ponca Seeds of Resistance corn that was planted in the path of a proposed pipeline.
