As a part of Edmonton Life Sciences Week, join the DrugBank team at Slow Pour Beer Bar to hear the story of DrugBank, a local tech company with a global footprint.
From its beginnings at the University of Alberta, DrugBank has grown from a U of A lab project to a global platform used by 13 of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies worldwide. We'll talk about how our small but mighty team in Edmonton built a dataset that has been cited in over 89,000 scientific publications and is instrumental in over $2 billion in research spending.
