About Event

Grab your lunch and join us on Zoom for a virtual lunch session, led by leadership coach Mounica Veggalam! This will be a 1-hour deep dive on the inner game, when you're building new things in ambiguity and unknown.

We’ll spend the hour with Mounica looking at the specific biases limiting our results, even when we're doing the hard things. And with her help you'll design your next move.

Read on for more info:

There’s a point where you’re doing the hard things and going out of your comfort zone but it doesn’t change things much. You’ve had the conversation you’ve been avoiding. You’ve taken on the stretch project. You’ve made the big ask. You did all those things, maybe more than once.

Even after you’ve done those hard things, there’s often a strange paradox - a feeling like you’re overwhelmed and also not doing the right things.

As an engineer-turned-coach, a business owner and a parent, Mounica knows this one from the inside. The problem is sometimes tactical– figuring out what's the next right thing.

But most often, the problem happens because our programmed patterns of thinking create bias, especially when there's a lot of ambiguity, no straight answers and not everything is in your control.

Format

This is a working session. There will be writing prompts and optional coaching time.

Takeaways To Expect

A clearer view of the inner-game that would increase the likelihood of what you want, when you’re operating in the unknown.

Who This is For

  • Builders: Engineers, ICs, managers, directors, founders. People who have to put a lot of thinking into building things.

  • Seekers: People who want to get more self-awareness into their thinking patterns and decision-making patterns.

About the Presenter

Mounica Veggalam coaches analytical leaders through a method she calls Creating in the Unknown, drawing on ontological coaching, mindfulness, and the neuroscience of emotion. Her foundations come from training and professional practice across coaching and human behavior with professionals, leaders and entrepreneurs. She's worked as an engineer at Microsoft and holds a master's degree in computer science. She also studies meditation and spiritual paths, because the inner work provides the expansion to pursue our outer expression in work, relationships and personal life.
