Social Integrity in Carbon Markets – Symposium and Networking
We are delighted to invite you to a Symposium and Networking event, Social Integrity in Carbon Markets, at COP30 in Belém, Brazil.
This event contributes to a shared vision: advancing integrity, rights, inclusion and principles of self determination in carbon markets while centering the leadership and lived experiences of Indigenous Peoples, local communities, and Afro-descendant Peoples.
This symposium will bring together partners and allies committed to advancing social integrity within carbon markets — strengthening alliances among organizations that believe Indigenous Peoples, local communities, and Afro-descendant Peoples must be at the heart of nature-based solutions.
The event will also provide space for open dialogue, collective planning, and networking to deepen collaboration around principles of integrity, rights, and self-determination.
Co-conveners:
The Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities Engagement Forum,
