Let’s Face It

​Hi, I’m Caroline, a photographer, and with Let’s Face It I want to explore what happens when we take away the pressure to look a certain way in front of the camera. I’m interested in those moments when people let go a little, stop thinking about how they’re being seen, and simply enjoy being in front of the camera.

​On September 11, I’ll be at Boabe și Struguri taking portraits of anyone who wants to join in and have some fun with it.These won’t be your usual portraits — expect goofy faces and exaggerated expressions.

​The portraits will then be exhibited at the café throughout October-November.

​Let’s Face It is about the many ways we express ourselves. Through playful, exaggerated faces, the project makes room for spontaneity, vulnerability, humor, and personality. It’s about having fun, playing around, and giving ourselves the freedom to express things in our own way. And sometimes, life is simply better when we don’t take ourselves too seriously.
