What happens to education when answers are no longer scarce?
AI is changing how young people learn, think and create. The National AI Builders Programme (NAIBP) 2026 was created to help students go beyond simply using AI for answers, and learn how to think, experiment, solve problems and build with it.
After engaging hundreds of students and educators across Melaka, Johor and Kuala Lumpur/Selangor, the programme culminates in the NAIBP 2026 National Finals.
What to expect at the Finals
Come for three key experiences:
See what young people are building
Explore ideas from 11 National Finalist teams and 9 exhibition projects, then watch the Top 3 finalists take the stage to present their work.Join the conversation on education and AI
Hear from Rebekah Cheng, Tabitha Lim, EdD, and Yeong Sue Ann in the panel, Rethinking Education in the Age of AI: Building Better Thinkers, Not Faster Answers. Experience Parent × Kid Vibe Coding
Parents and children can build with AI together in a special morning workshop from 9.00am to 11.00am. This is a paid, separately ticketed session, and seats must be booked through a separate registration link - https://luma.com/4ddj6bx3 The best ideas from the workshop will also be featured during the Finals.
The Finals are for parents, educators, soon-to-be parents, education leaders, builders, and anyone curious about how AI could reshape learning.
You do not need to be an AI expert. Come to see what students are already creating, hear different perspectives on the future of education, and explore what it means to raise better thinkers in the age of AI.
