About the speakers
Simon Pellas – Senior executive with broad international experience spanning management consulting, finance, and strategic leadership. Simon has held roles at Boston Consulting Group, including Chief of Staff in the Nordics, and has roots in investment banking. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and currently serves as Chief of Staff at Monument Bank, a London-based challenger bank redefining wealth management and financial services for the mass affluent.
Tim Backstrom – Chief of Staff at PPRO, a leading fintech powering local and cross-border payment solutions for merchants and payment service providers worldwide. PPRO’s platform simplifies global payments by activating, accepting, and managing local payment methods across more than 85 markets, helping businesses scale with reduced complexity. Tim’s background spans investment banking, fintech and startup environments, and he holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
