​For 23 years, The Box Shop has been a home for artists who build and dream big. Art created here has ended up in front of millions like Burning Man, EDC, Coachella and public spaces around the world. You’ve experienced art built here, and you may not even know it.

​The Box Shop will continue to be that home for artists for many more years to come, but this fall, we say goodbye to our longtime home at Hudson Ave and move to a new space.

​Exit Through The Box Shop is one of the final parties in this space, and we’re making it count.

​We’re teaming up with Opulent Temple, longtime friends who have built right here in the shop for years. Together, we’ll celebrate our remaining time at Hudson Ave with a full lineup of DJs, serious sound, and, of course, art.

• ​Dance among the murals: 140+ murals (SF’s largest collection) that will disappear from this corner of SF in just a few months. Come see them while you still can.

• ​Opulent Temple DJs will bring the energy all night

• ​Fire art from the Flaming Lotus Girls: push buttons, blast flames

• ​Jen Reed’s Compost Playground: Climb one of Burning Man’s 2026 Honorarium art pieces

• ​Entwined by Charlie Gadeken will entrance with mesmerizing light patterns

• ​Commune by Jim Cortez will bring people together to interact at a dining table like no other

• ​Sculptor Haideen Anderson populates the shop with her works

• ​A BB shooting gun gallery run by Cowboy Girl and her bar chicken, Bam Bam

• ​A donation-based bar for libations

• ​And more…who knows what else you’ll encounter? Aerial acts off a forklift, go-go dancing from the top of shipping containers, live painting, and whatever else our crazy community conjures up.

​This isn’t goodbye to The Box Shop, but it is the final season of this space, this home, this version.

​Come for the music, stay for the chaos, and leave knowing you were here in this place while it was still this place.
