​Pluto Markets is challenging a financial sector that has barely moved in 30 years, giving consumers more freedom through technology, better prices and transparency.

​Getting there wasn't easy. After founding the company in 2021, Joakim Bruchmann and Oscar Vingtoft spent 3.5 years on heavy regulatory processes, rejections and fundraising, living on instant noodles in a suburban basement and nearly giving up more than once. When they finally launched, the first users weren't impressed.

​Today, Pluto Markets has raised DKK 65M from some of the world's most successful entrepreneurs, serves 20,000+ Danes, manages close to DKK 1B, and recently won Forbrugerrådet Tænk's "Best in Test" award. Next goal: becoming the Nordics' leading investment platform within five years.
