PauseAI Demonstration: The Timeline (Brussels)

​AI labs race. Nobody brakes. AI bosses themselves signed extinction warning. Nobody asked the rest of us what we think. Most of the population isn't even fully aware of what's going on. Let's show them.

​WHY HERE

​Square is in front of EU Parliament. MEPs walk past. Journalists too. This is the place to bring this up, Europe can still act, it just needs pushing. MEPs need to see what citizens care about.

​WHAT WE ASK

​We want binding international limits, not just promises. We want Europe to lead this. Builders prove safety. Not us. We want a global pause: https://pauseai.info/statement

​WHAT YOU DO

​One line stunt explanation. Stand with us. Hold poster, or not. No experience. No speech. No shouting. Peaceful, legal, about one hour. Numbers are the message. Showing up = enough.

​PRACTICAL

​Monday 21 September. Arrive at 16:30, the action starts at 17:00. Place du Luxembourg, Brussels. Posters provided. Bring a friend. We have authorization for this event, of course.

​RSVP so we know how many posters to print. (Drink after, nearby bar.) Photographer present. Opt out if you prefer.

​We will go to a bar for drinks after the demonstration!
