About Event

Platform engineering is evolving fast and teams and practitioners that don’t adapt risk falling behind. In this community meetup, we’ll explore how modern platform engineering practices are shaping the future of software delivery, from Kubernetes foundations to AI-ready infrastructure. This is a practical, peer-driven conversation about what it really takes to build platforms that scale, stay secure, and are actually adopted by developers.

Come meet others working in platform engineering and join an open discussion with practitioners who are building and running platforms today. Share your lessons learned, challenges, and successes with people who understand the realities of the job.

Together with panelists from Canonical Ubuntu and VMware by Broadcom, we’ll discuss:

  • Key takeaways and emerging trends from the State of Platform Engineering Report, Volume 4

  • How platform engineers can enable AI infrastructure and services with open source while ensuring data privacy and sovereign AI requirements

  • The Kubernetes infrastructure foundations needed to successfully deliver an open applications platform

  • Platform as a Product: how to set strong guardrails while preserving developer autonomy and reducing operational toil

Come network, exchange ideas, and prepare yourself, and your platform, for what’s next.
