Agnes AI Hackathon Singapore @ SMU, co-hosted by SMU Artificial Intelligence Club (SMUAI), is a one-day AI hackathon bringing together students, developers, designers, and builders to create real AI-powered products using Agnes AI APIs.

Top winning teams will receive accelerated consideration for Agnes AI internship/career opportunities, giving participants the chance to continue building with Agnes AI beyond the hackathon and explore real-world AI product development experience with the team.
Participants will get hands-on access to Agnes AI’s text, image, and video generation models, collaborate in teams, and turn ideas into working prototypes within a single day.
Whether you're an experienced developer, first-time builder, designer, or simply curious about AI, this hackathon is designed to be open, collaborative, and beginner-friendly.
Participants may join individually or form teams of 1–5 members. Teams may be formed before the hackathon or on-site during the team formation segment. Participants are welcome to compete solo or as part of a team.

Event Timeline
09:00–09:50 — Registration & Company Introduction
• Welcome by organizers and partners
• Introduction to Agnes AI APIs and technical stack
• Event rules, tracks, and judging criteria09:50–10:20 — API Integration & Team Formation
• Environment setup and API onboarding
• Team formation and networking
• Brainstorming project ideas and selecting directions10:20–16:30 — Hacking & Development Session
• Full build session begins
• Product ideation, feature planning, prototyping, coding, design, API integration, testing, and debugging
• Teams may continue hacking throughout the day, including during lunch12:00–13:00 — Lunch Served
• Complimentary lunch and refreshments will be provided for all participants
• Hacking will continue during this period for teams who wish to keep building
16:30 — Submission Deadline
• All teams must submit their projects by 16:30
• Submissions should include team members details, a pitch deck, prototype/demo link where applicable, and a 30-second quick prototype pitch video
• Teams should ensure their idea, prototype, and value proposition are clear and compelling16:30–16:45 — Judges’ Shortlisting
• Judges will conduct a rapid review of submitted projects
• Top 10 shortlisted teams will be selected to present during the demo session16:45–18:00 — Demo Day & Project Pitching
• Announcement of shortlisted Top 10 teams
• Pitch order will be randomized live using a wheel spin
• Each shortlisted team will present their project through a live demo and pitch
• Pitch format: 4-minute presentation followed by 2-minute judges’ Q&A
• Judges’ feedback, final evaluation, and prize deliberation18:00 onwards — Networking Session
