Luka spent one summer working as a hotel housekeeper and it shaped everything that came after. He started Flexkeeping in 2013 to make daily life better for the people running hotel operations. Thirteen years later, Flexkeeping became a Mews company.

Matjaž has been an early-stage investor at Pan-Adria Partners since 2022, and a partner at Valui, a firm that pairs capital with hands-on business development, since 2017. He also sits on boards and invests across cybersecurity, AI, and insurance software.

Luka runs growth at ParakeetAI, which got to €1M MRR mostly through organic user-generated content — 600+ creators, hundreds of thousands paid out to them, and a billion-plus views, managed by a team of three.

About the host
Kovačnica is Kranj's entrepreneurial hub, built from the ground up by a group of young locals in 2015 who convinced the municipality to give them an old post office. Today it's the central innovation space for the Gorenjska region: a coworking space, startup incubator, and a place where 80+ events happen every year.
