community ready: practical prep for uncertain times (ft. Seattle Office of Emergency Management)
Join Soapbox Seattle for our LEARN night this month as we explore community resilience through disaster preparedness — in a way that’s practical, human, and not scary.
We’ll be joined by Ann Forrest, Community Safety Ambassador with Seattle's Office of Emergency Management, for an interactive workshop focused on what actually helps when emergencies happen. Expect clear guidance, real-world tips, and plenty of space for questions — no doom-scrolling required.
Whether you’re brand new to preparedness or just want a refresher, this session is designed to help you feel more confident, connected, and ready — together.
The plan (plant-based dinner is included)
6~7pm | dinner & yap
7~8:30pm | Disaster Preparedness workshop
8:30-9 | continued mingling and learning
Please try to arrive by 6:30pm so you have time to grab dinner before the programming begins.
Request a reparative ticket here if needed.
