About Event

OAISI Projects is a structured, weekly coworking programme running every Sunday afternoon during Hilary Term, designed to give aspiring researchers a focused, supportive environment to make steady progress on AI safety, policy, and closely related projects.

For approved projects, we’ll provide:

A fully-equipped coworking space
Food and drink during coworking hours
API keys
Informal mentorship, advice and support!

OAISI Projects is for work on projects that are motivated by reducing risk from advanced AI, or by building skills that enable future contributions to AI safety. You can also use Projects to work on AI safety applications or closely related upskilling (but not uni coursework that isn’t very closely related to AI safety). Of course, you’re welcome to work on your project outside of project hours.
