Join The Penelope Network & Women in Business Collective for a hands-on workshop on using AI, not experimenting with it, but building it into the parts of your week that repeat: school, work, and everything in between.
This session is about building real skills & confidence with AI, at your own pace, in the ways that actually feel useful to you. No pressure to keep up or master every tool. We'll walk through which AI tools are right for you, examples of them at work, and how to turn prompts into habits that actually stick.
Meet our teacher:
Simran Dhaliwal helps non-technical professionals find their place in AI. After seven years in marketing across India and Canada, she moved into prompt engineering and works on AI at Meta. She teaches practical AI through workshops and community events in Toronto. A featured Josh Talks speaker and author of Home in Infinite Spaces, Simran shows audiences how creativity, language and human judgment shape the technology.
Whether you're in a classroom, deep in your first job, or years into a career, this session is designed to help you build an AI habit that feels like yours.

About Women In Business Collective: Inspired by 3 women, Kendra Landi, Kayla Cunanan, and Talia Manzanares discovered that Women in Business, which had grown to become the largest organization at San Diego State University, had no united community at the higher level. Better yet, there was a resounding interest in an overarching, national organization. To help build up Women in Businesses at other colleges, they turned their passion into action, creating the blueprint for their chapter’s success - and establishing it into a business for all chapters to follow. Currently supporting 11 chapters nationwide, spanning from West to East Coast + a new chapter in Hawaii.
