Come sit with me for a bit at Sincerely, Cherise’s first ever edition of Save Me A Seat: A jewelry-making experience to savour.
A while back, a friend asked if I’d ever want to host a workshop and I couldn’t stop thinking about it after. Something about the idea stuck with me, especially when I thought about how it’s been almost 8 years since I first started making jewelry. But I didn’t want it to be just another workshop. I wanted it to be a whole experience of its own. So after a good period of obsessing over it and making sure I could actually make my ideas tangible, here we are: a place to slow down, make something with your hands, and have a proper latte while you’re at it. For my first edition, I’m bringing matcha lattes and a gelato-themed jewelry-making experience to you.

You’ll get your own seat, a complimentary matcha/hojicha latte of your choice and time to slow down and create a necklace that's entirely yours!

How your 1.5h slot works:
Settle in (~15min): Have a seat and order your complimentary drink as I give you a quick rundown on how the experience works: What’s on the menu, how to use your materials and a little about what got me into all this.
Jewelry-making (~60–70min): Design and create your necklace as you sip your latte: Pick your main flavour, mini scoops and toppings! Arrange and assemble it all exactly how you like, and I'll help you finish it off so it's ready for you to wear right out the door*.
Browse & Shop: While waiting, feel free to browse Table’s Set. I’ll be dropping new pieces there too!

*Note: Your slot is booked for 1.5h, and most people should be all wrapped up by then. But each necklace is finished by hand one at a time by me, so if you’re one of the last few finishing up, you might be with us a little past your slot.
Don’t worry, while waiting you can browse a little longer, or even head downstairs to grab another drink or ice cream if you’d like. But if you’re in a hurry and unable to stay past your 1.5h slot, your completed necklace can be mailed to you instead at just $2. Just let me know!
The menu I’ve curated for your necklaces:
Base: A selection of Japanese glass seed beads in various colors. Pick from any of the following (feel free to mix it up!):
Clear, Cream, Olive Green, Blue-Grey, Burgundy, Dark Brown, Pale Pink

Main Scoop: A handcrafted gelato scoop charm. Pick your favourite flavor from the following:
Matcha, Pistachio, Strawberry, Chocolate, Vanilla, Black Sesame, Taro, Butterfly Pea Vanilla

Mini Scoops: Natural gemstone beads in two sizes, carefully curated and inspired by gelato flavors. Make it as simple or as maximalist as you like! Choose up to 10 from any of the following:

Cookies & Cream
Black Sesame
Butterfly Pea Vanilla
Raspberry Mocha
Strawberry
Strawberry Sorbet (not a gelato but the color of the beads looks so good, I had to include it)

Toppings: A curated selection of genuine freshwater pearls in various sizes. Make it as simple or as maximalist as you like! Choose up to 10 from any of the following:

Want to go even more maximalist? Additional scoops or toppings are available at a small fee of $6 for gemstones and freshwater pearls, and $16 for handcrafted gelato scoop charms 🫶🏼
(Some samples I made for your reference! The necklaces are designed to allow you to wear them with the gelato charms removed too, for days when you might prefer a simpler design)

Q: How much does a ticket/seat cost?
A: Tickets are priced at $88 each, with each ticket admitting one person.

Q: Is this beginner-friendly?
A: Yes it is! No prior experience with jewelry-making is needed. You’ll mainly be designing your necklace and stringing beads on beading wire to make it. My team and I will also be guiding you along the way, and I’ll personally help you finish off each of your necklaces to ensure everything’s secure and ready to wear.

Q: What hardware is used for our necklaces?
A: Tarnish-resistant stainless steel and PVD-coated stainless steel hardware, along with professional-grade beading wire. Aka the exact same range of materials I use in the jewelry I make for Sincerely, Cherise.

Q: What are the lengths available for the necklace I will be making?
A: You’ll be provided with enough beading wire to make a necklace that’s up to 45cm long. But feel free to make a shorter necklace if you’d prefer that!

Q: Can I visit Table’s Set without booking a Save Me A Seat ticket?
A: Yes! It’s a free, RSVP-prioritised pop-up running during breaks between Save Me A Seat sessions, so you can browse and shop the full range without booking a session. The RSVP link will be shared via my Instagram @sincerelycherise soon!

Q: How does the “booking with friends” perk work?
A: Book two or more tickets in the same order for the same time slot, and you’ll each receive a complimentary pair of handcrafted gelato scoop earrings, exclusive to the first 5 qualifying bookings only! You’ll receive your earrings during your session.
Tickets booked across different orders or time slots cannot be combined for this perk.

Q: Will my group be seated together?
A: Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, so tables aren’t assigned. Our tables seat 3-4 pax each. If your group is larger, arriving before your session’s start time together can help you grab neighbouring tables, but seating can’t be guaranteed for larger groups.
Please don’t arrive too early though! We’ll be resetting the space between slots, so I recommend arriving no earlier than 5min before your session starts.

Q: Can I make more than one necklace?
A: If time and materials allow, extra necklaces can be made for $78 each, finished on a first-come, first-served basis as each session wraps up. This isn’t guaranteed, so I’d recommend not planning around it, but feel free to ask on the day itself!

Q: Can I use my 10% off voucher on extra necklaces, add-ons, or mailing fees?
A: The 10% off voucher is only applicable to items available at Table’s Set, my pop-up at the back of the room (browse the full range while you create!), or on jewelry pieces available on my website. It doesn’t apply to extra necklaces made, additional scoops/toppings chosen or any mailing fees at Save Me A Seat.

Q: What if I arrive late for my slot?
A: Sessions will start promptly at their designated start times. Late arrivals will have reduced crafting time in order to keep within each time slot, to ensure subsequent sessions are not delayed.

Q: Can I change my time slot after booking?
A: Yes! One slot change is permitted per ticket up until 16 September, 11:59 PM SGT, subject to availability (do note slots are limited so a reschedule isn’t guaranteed). Just DM me on Instagram @heysavemeaseat if you’d like to do so.
