About Event

We are so back.

Join us for an interactive Sci-Fi night, we're we read, analyze, and criticize the physics of some of the greatest Sci-Fi movies and Series of all time.

Unwind in an intellectually and creatively stimulating setting.

6-8 pm: Sci-Fi Reading with Candlelight and sci-fi soundtrack. We'll put out Sci-Fi masterpieces, but feel free to bring your own!

8.15 pm: The Expanse, episodes 1 and 2 ("Dulcinea" and "The Big Empty") on a 100 inch flatscreen.

Clovis will give a presentation on the physical feasibiliy of technologies used!

This is the hardest science fiction ever put on screen: ships that flip and burn to slow down, gravity that comes from thrust and spin instead of movie magic, and combat that actually respects momentum and orbital mechanics.

We'll watch humanity spread across the solar system, from the dripping tunnels of Ceres to the warships of Earth and Mars, and pick apart what holds up and what doesn't.

If you dress up as an astronaut or alien, you get photographed + added to our Hall of Fame!

Organic popcorn, drinks, healthy snacks provided.

Excited to see you all. This time I can say confidently: Ad Astra!
