Autumn Hand Embroidery Workshop
Welcome the changing season with a cosy, creative afternoon of hand embroidery.
Led by Gigi Volrath, founder of Amsterdam Embroidery Studio, this intimate workshop is an invitation to slow down, get creative, and celebrate the beauty of autumn.
Inspired by the season’s rich colours and rituals, you might find yourself stitching golden leaves, marigolds, pumpkins, sprigs of blackberries, celestial skies, the harvest moon — or perhaps something with a little Halloween magic.
You’ll be introduced to a range of hand embroidery techniques, professional tips and be guided through the process of translating your own ideas into a design on a fabric bandana. There’s no need to be an experienced embroiderer — simply bring your ideas and curiosity, and we’ll guide you from there.
By the end of the afternoon, you’ll have created a small sampler of stitches and a unique, personalised bandana to keep for yourself or give as a thoughtful handmade gift.
Your ticket includes
Personal guidance from Gigi Volrath, founder of Amsterdam Embroidery Studio, including help developing your own design

A beautiful selection of fabrics, bandanas and threads to choose from

Just bring yourself and your ideas — everything else is taken care of.
