Hosted by Dr. Alexander v. Buttlar-Wallot, founder and Managing Director of FUNDED, a tech-enabled advisory firm dedicated to helping ventures secure non-dilutive funding: grants, debt, and subsidized debt.
Alex has over 10 years of professional experience in fundraising, building a broad network and deep expertise across grants, debt, and equity. Before founding FUNDED, he led the fundraising efforts at VC-backed startup Flexcavo, which exited in 2022, collecting €11m in debt, €8m+ in equity, and €2m+ in grants. Previously, Alex worked at Bain & Co. and KPMG's Deal Advisory practice. He holds a PhD in Finance from the University of St. Gallen and the University of Cambridge.
With a team of 15 professionals and its proprietary SaaS platform FundedOS, FUNDED has advised 100+ ventures to successfully attain over €300m in grants and debt, including clients such as Celonis, TWAICE, and Wandelbots.
