Building for Traction in Health Tech
Multi-Stakeholder Marketing for Health Tech Startups from Seed to Scale
A SeaHealthTech Lunch & Learn with Katie Cobb, in partnership with AI House. Lunch included. Networking at 11:30 AM; session begins at noon.
Health tech founders are often told they need marketing. But before spending on campaigns, agencies, content, or a first marketing hire, there is a more important question: What business milestone are you trying to reach, and who needs to say yes?
In healthcare, the person who uses a product is rarely the person who buys it. A clinician may love the workflow. A program leader may champion it. A CFO may own the budget. Meanwhile, security, legal, compliance, procurement, or clinical review can still slow or stop the deal.
That complexity changes how marketing works for companies moving from seed to scale.
In this hands-on session, you’ll work through a practical framework using a real challenge from your company. You’ll leave with:
A clear commercial milestone to focus on
A map of the stakeholders who influence your ability to reach it
An understanding of what each of them cares about and what each one risks
A version of your pitch written for one key stakeholder
Who should attend:
Health tech founders, commercial leads, and operators working to land pilots, reach enterprise buyers, build partnerships, or prepare for their next raise.
This session is especially relevant if you’re asking:
Who is actually my buyer in a complex healthcare organization?
Am I speaking to the user, the champion, or the budget holder?
Why are conversations or pilots stalling?
Where should my marketing budget go first?
Come prepared to work on a real business challenge. This is an interactive workshop, not a slide-heavy presentation.
