About Event

β€‹πŸŽ―About the Event

There's a shift underway that most engineers are already feeling but haven't fully named yet.

AI coding started as autocomplete. Then came agents that could take on a task end to end. Now teams are running multiple agents in parallel β€” specifying work, reviewing output, and shipping software without writing most of the code themselves. The question is no longer whether AI can code. It's whether your engineering workflow is ready for what comes next.

On September 2, Qoder and Seamate bring together engineers, founders, and technical leads in the Bay Area for an evening built around that question β€” with a live demo, builder showcases, and an honest panel on what agentic workflows actually look like in practice.

This is not a pitch event. It's a working conversation between people who are already building with these tools and thinking through what comes next.

β€‹πŸ€”What's Happening

β€‹πŸŽ― Qoder Keynote + Live Demo

Qoder will walk through how Spec-Driven Development, Context Engineering, and multi-agent collaboration change the way software gets built and shipped. The session is built around a live demo β€” from project context and spec to execution, review, and delivery. You'll see what changes when the agent isn't just suggesting code, but finishing tasks.

β€‹βš‘ Builder Lightning Demos

4 builders from the room, 3 minutes each. A quick look at what people are actually shipping β€” products, AI workflows, tools, or whatever's in progress right now. Demo slots are open to applicants; selected by content quality and topic fit.

β€‹πŸ§  Industry Panel: Engineering in the Age of Agents

A focused conversation with founders and engineers already working with agentic tools. Three threads:

  • Build β€” When does the agent actually finish the task, not just assist with it? What makes a spec that reduces rework?

  • Operate β€” How do teams maintain context, rules, and memory for agents running over time?

  • Collaborate & Scale β€” How is the engineering team structure changing? What does code review and accountability look like when AI generates most of the code?

β€‹πŸΊ Networking + Light Bites

An unhurried hour after the main session. Drinks, small bites, and whatever conversations naturally follow.

πŸ‘₯ Who Should Attend

Engineers and founders who are actively building with AI coding tools β€” or deciding how to adopt them at the team or company level.

This evening is especially for you if you're:

  • Already using AI coding agents and running into real workflow questions

  • Evaluating agentic tools for your team or engineering org

  • Building developer tools, AI infra, or products in the engineering space

  • Curious what engineering looks like beyond the Copilot layer β€” and want to hear from people doing it

Registration is approval-based. We keep the room at 50–70 people so conversations are actually worth having.

β€‹πŸ’« About Qoder

From Agentic Coding to Agentic Engineering

Qoder is an AI-native development platform designed for a new generation of software development where AI moves beyond code assistance toward autonomous execution.

Instead of simply generating snippets of code, Qoder enables developers to collaborate with AI agents across the development lifecycle β€” understanding codebases, planning tasks, implementing features, testing solutions, and working through longer, more complex engineering workflows.

Through capabilities such as Agent Mode and Quest, builders can delegate increasingly sophisticated development tasks while staying focused on ideas, product decisions, and outcomes.

At this hackathon, you'll get hands-on experience exploring what happens when AI becomes more than a coding assistant β€” and starts becoming part of the engineering team.

About Seamate

Seamate is a community for founders, builders, and investors exploring AI, startups, and global markets. 40k+ members across 10+ countries. We run events where the emphasis is on who's in the room and what's actually being built β€” not on filling seats.
