Seattle AI Week brings together people building, funding, regulating, and rethinking AI — and a lot of that conversation assumes you already speak the language.
This session doesn't. It's a plain-English grounding in what AI actually is, how the tools most people are hearing about work, what they're genuinely good at, where they fall short, and which terms you'll hear all week and what they really mean.
No technical background required and no laptop needed. Come with questions you've been hesitant to ask out loud — you'll leave able to follow every conversation happening across the rest of the week, and better equipped to judge for yourself which claims about AI hold up.
