Initiative – Evaluating AM Decisions: Member Briefing

AMGTA is convening a cross-sector group of manufacturers to take on a problem we see across additive manufacturing: how its cost gets weighed against conventional methods, and how often that comparison is drawn too narrowly, and measured on the wrong unit, to be accurate or useful. We're developing a neutral, practical guide that captures the bigger picture – not a calculator, but an organizational view of where an AM decision actually lands, from production and finance to supply chain, design, sustainability, and strategy.

Before the work begins, we'd like to walk members through what we have in mind and hear your thoughts. Join Sherri Monroe, Executive Director, for an overview call to learn about the initiative, how it will work, and how your organization can take part. This is an introductory conversation ahead of the formal kickoff – a chance to shape the effort early.
