An Interactive Side Event for Intentional Founders
Most of us got into entrepreneurship because we wanted to build something that matters. But when it comes to "giving back," the path is often less clear than our business strategy. We’re left wondering: Am I actually making a difference, or just checking a box?
On June 24th, an hour before the main Pirate Night kicks off, we’re hosting an interactive workshop at Odonien to explore how we can apply the same rigor to our impact as we do to our startups.
This isn't a series of lectures. It’s a space to connect with other founders, investors, and students to grapple with the "how" of doing good—using data, logic, and heart.
What we can explore together:
The Giving Circle: We’ll pool a small, collective "pot" of money and decide live where it should go to achieve the highest possible impact using the lenses of scale and neglectedness.
The Impact Guessing Game: A quick, eye-opening session to test our intuitions about which global solutions actually move the needle.
How Much is Enough? A candid, facilitated discussion on our personal limits regarding work, wealth, and the freedom that comes with knowing your "enough".
Pathways to Impact: Whether it’s building a "Build-to-Give" venture, or working on an impact-driven business directly, we’ll discuss how to integrate impact into your entrepreneurial journey.
